Yushan Tang
MSc Student
Yushan Tang is a Msc student in Sociology at Lady Margaret Hall. Her current research is about grass-roots NGOs' role in influencing urban development, especially in the context of Southeast Asia. She examines how NGOs, community groups, local public authorities, and international agencies collectively influence the process of social transformation.
Research Interests: Political sociology, sociology of development, NGO accountability, urban slums
