Thesis Title: Life Course Transitions and Disability in Childhood, Adolescence and Early Adulthood

Elena Neri is a DPhil candidate in Sociology at Nuffield College. She is also an affiliate student with the International Max Planck Research School for Population, Health and Data Science (IMPRS-PHDS) at the Max Planck Institute for Demographic Research and the INSPIRE Research Centre at Bocconi University.
Elena’s research examines disability as an axis of social inequality across the early life course. She focuses on young people with disabilities and their families, investigating how life course transitions, through shifts in social and physical barriers, can shape and accelerate processes of stratification.
